Day 5!

I can not believe I have made it!!

  This is really hard, for me I feel like this is getting harder and harder, not easier and easier... Last night was i think the worse night for me, I wanted to eat so badly and I just felt SOOOOOOOOOO sick, my stomach was upset, my head hurt and I just could not get comfortable in bed. I really do not feel a change like everyone else say they do. I can tell i have a little more energy but that is about it. So last night that played a big part of me wanting to eat because I really do not feel a difference. Just feeling sick!

I am bruising all over the place. ((Reason why is that I have played soccer 2 times this week)) BUT I NEVER BRUISE, NEVER.. I have played all my life and now I feel like you touch me and I will have a bruise. Also I worked out my legs on Tuesday and I am still sore from it. It was not even a hard work out.

Therefore, I made the decision to start eating nuts tomorrow. I hope this helps a little and will help me not go crazy since I want to eat so badly.

Day 4!!!!

WOW I can not believe I made it to day 4.. This is not an easy thing to do.

Today I woke up with a really bad headache. I looked on "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" facebook and everyone was talking about that their headache were gone on day 4 and that they were feeling so great. Me not so much. I am really tired today and my head is killing me!!!! I am trying to drink alot of water today and I hope that it helps.

I am always looking and trying new little recipes. I like trying new juices, but sometimes that is not a good thing at ALL. I like trying new different fruit juices I really feel like you can not mess that up at all. Watermelon is not the greatest for me, it made alot of juice but it was not that great, I did put another things into but I do not think I would do it again, or i would put it in a different juice but just a little. Also if you are juicing, mango is hard to juice, you do not get alot out of it. I LOVE mango, but you just do not get alot of juice so it might not be great to get if you are watching your money. Also I made a new juice with onion in it... I WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. I thought i was going to puke, it was so bad. I had the taste in my mouth forever and just could not get it out. I am just going to stay with the mean green and put carrot in, time to time. That is what I can get down and I am starting to like it. I have people at work trying it and they said it was not bad. So if you are juicing, stay with what you like. You do not eat something, that you do not like, RIGHT??

Craving are still bad, getting better, But i just want to eat something, I really do not care what it is. But it gets bad when i smell something, and it gets really bad when I smell something that I like.

I am half way there. So I think I can do it!! ummm I know I can do it. I did not way myself before so I do not no how much weight that I am losing. But I can tell that I am!! I never have been a person to way myself, I really do not care, I know if my clothes fit right and when I look in the mirror I look ok, I am ok with it. But I really wish I did. Just to see how I am doing!

DAY 3!!!

I thought day 2 was going to be alot harder then it was. I thought my body was going to be hurting, my head and my stomach. I was ready to feel SICK! But I did not, I felt great, I got a little tired here and there but over all it was not bad at all. It is weird, I have more energy at night, last night I looked at the clock and it was already 12:00!!! normal I am in bed and maybe asleep by then, but I was up and did not want to go to bed.. Weird!!!

But what was terrible was the CRAVINGS!!! I wanted to eat food SOOOOOOOOOOO bad. People at work were making food for lunch ((nothing that I would ever eat)) and I wanted to just take there plate away from them and run!! Then when I got home after a LONG day, my boyfriend just made dinner and I just wanted his food sooo bad and all it was, was a Lean Cuisine. Then to top it off after the house smelling so good of food, it seemed like everything on TV was about food, EVERYTHING... I had to turn off the TV, because for a second I thought I was going to break.

Here is something about me, I LOVE FOOD!!!!! LOVE IT!! But not love it in, because I am over weight, love it from brings people together to cooking and trying new things. I cook ALL the time and I am trying new repices almost every other day. The one thing that everyone has in common is EATING.. It bring all different people together and that is one of the things that I love about it. Also I love trying new foods and cooking new foods. I can not believe I am going to say this, but I do MISS FOOD!.. I just want to cook a BIG DINNER!

Day 2!

Day 1 went great, I did not have one problem at all! I played in a 90min soccer game ((& it was SO HOT OUT)) and I felt great, was a little tired after it, but hey who is not. Last night I had so much energy, but this morning on day 2 I was so tired, that I had a hard time getting out of bed.

So far so good, still tired and really cold at work. Breakfast was great and my snack for today, I just can not wait.

But I have to say that this is not cheap, all the veg and fruit I got on Sunday is almost or gone. Now I understand why alot of people do go to fast food for breakfast, lunch AND dinner, it is the cheapest thing to do. Eating right is alot of money and when you need to pay bills, rent and eat, you are going to get the cheapest thing you can get, so there is a place you can go home too. I do not have any kids, but I can see why our kids are over-weight. More and MORE people do not have jobs but have families and these kids are the ones that are slapped across the face because they are not getting any healthy food, because they parents do not have the money to buy them the veggies that they need. THIS IS SAD PEOPLE!! something is really wrong with this picture!!!!!  What do you think????  
  - this is a GREAT website, if you are having a hard time making up recipes, it has so many different ones!! try it!!

I want to know how people are exercising on this fast???  ALOT/ A LITTLE... let me know!

DAY 1!

Day 1

 My breakfast was, raspberries, blueberries and an apple. It was good but next time I will put half the apple not the whole things because it just taste like an apple. For lunch I have the mean green, I did not want to taste it when I made it because I was scared that I was not going to like it and I would not want to drink it. But my snack, I CAN NOT WAIT. It is blackberry, strawberry and peach, it is the best, even if you do not juice for 10 days it is SO GOOD.

I know this is going to be hard because there is always GREAT food at work. But I know I will feel better in the long run.

Why am I doing this?

I am a 24 year old that lives in the FATTEST city in the country. I have lived here for 6 years, I went to undergrad and grad school at Marshall University. I never really thought about what you put into your body really matters at all. After living here for 6 years and having a TV show about this area, Jamie Oliver Food Revolution. I starting thinking about things, trying to eat better, BUT IT IS HARD!!!

I was born and raised in Long Island, NY. When I think about it Long Island is a pretty healthy place to live. People care about what they look like, and that plays into what you eat. I feel that I have been a healthy person my whole life. I was a Division I soccer player and played soccer my whole life, always an active person. Now I am always busy because now I am a soccer coach.

I watch one night "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" with Joe Cross and it changed my life. I feel that if you want to change, you and only you can do it. I feel that I can be a healthy person. Therefore I am rebooting my body. Stating from the inside OUT!

Rebooting your body is not a diet, it is a life style change. I am a Grad student, that has been looking for a job for about 7 months now and can not find anything. Therefore, I am taking the approach of feeling better, better things are going to happen for me. Wish me good luck! Time for things to happen
